The National Bureau of Statistics informs that insurance companies in 2025 compared to 2024 year:

• received accrued gross premiums in the amount of 3351,2 million lei, increasing by 3,1%;

• paid out insurance indemnities and compensations in the amount of 1492,9 million lei, or 16,3% more;

• recorded revenues and expenses higher than in 2024, respectively by 1,1% and 6,2%.
